My experience with this lipstick:

Packaging-

Tha lakme absolute lipstick range have attractive silver grey metallic finish sleek casing. The logo is engraved on the tip of the cap and branding is done in white color while shade name and number is given on the bottom.
Overall a usual lipstick casing, it is the metallic finish and color that makes it appealing.

Color & Texture-

207 Peach carnation in the lipstick bullet looks like a medium brown/ nutmeg shade. On my lips it comes more like a peachy nude brown subtle shade. This shade reminds me of a dried rose petals(if that makes sense) when its on my lips :D The shade is soft subtle enough to use for office wear or even daily. I have to confess i am so in love with this lipstick, it has become my quick pick because i know this is one shade that will go with almost every look. Overall a very versatile shade. This lipstick as the name suggest gives lips nice matte look but the formulation is not at all dry rather it's hydrating on the lips and creamy on application.

Lasting stay-

It lasted for about 2.5 hour on my lips surviving a tea and cookies but was completely wiped off after the lunch. So i had to reapply this after my lunch. So i guess it may last a little more long if the food and drinks can be skipped(impossible in my case) :p

Pigmentation-

The shade provide decent color and coverage with one sweep but still any pigmentation on lips could easily be detected. With the second sweep this shade gives absolute coverage to the lips.
I love how comfortable this feels on the lips neither too creamy nor too dry but enough hydrating.

Note-

One this i recommend is to buff/ scrub your lips to remove any chapped skin before applying this as this lipstick gives matte finish, so obviously chapped/patchy lips will come in focus. You don't want that right?

Swatch:

This is how this looks on me. I am also wearing this lip color Here.

Pros:

1. Beautiful subtle shade for everyday/ office wear.
2. Perfect matte look without the side effects of a matte lipstick(you know what i mean :D )
3. Absolute coverage in two coats.
4. Has a mild nice fragrance.
5. Hydrating to the lips.
6. Attractive packaging.
7. Versatile shade

Cons:

1. Not lasting enough
2. Focus chapped/patchy lips.

Overall rate:

4.6/5

Verdict: A very versatile shade that would suit every skin tone and would go well with every look!!

I am so going to try a few more shades from this range, if you have any other favorite from this range do let me know.
Have a great weekend everyone
Enjoy Winters
