Real Techniques by samantha chapman your Base/Flawless core collection review

What company claims:

High definition results. Look pixel perfect even in harsh light. Ultra smooth taklon bristles.

Price:

17.99 USD

My take on the core collection:

Your Base/Flawless core collection is actually a set of four face brushes that comes with a 2 in 1 case + stand. I got this set along with another set and some more stuff from iherb.com about a month back. To read the haul post and for discount code click Here. I have to say, since i have bought them i am so hooked with these brushes... and i haven't even any other of my brushes, blender etc..

Packaging:

The set comes packed in this transparent plastic box that has details about each brush on the back side to help you with them. It has a good quality panoramic 2 in 1 case and stand that helps to carry the brush set easily in your bag or if you want to organize them on vanity table, it serves both way.
The brushes are super soft with copper color metal handle and rubber back that helps with the grip.

Quality:

The brushes are super soft taklon bristles that feels like feather touch. I overall liked the look of these brush set, the bristles are great quality and they given rubber back on every brush handle for excellent grip. The copper color metal body which is actually light weight gives the brushes that posh look.

As seen in the pictures, this set has four face brushes-

1) Detailer Brush-

" Precision cut to effortlessly conceal problem area; or, use with lipstick for long lasting shape and definition". Description as provided on the packaging.

This brush is basically a multi - functional brush, can be used to serve many purpose as given in the description bit i think this works great to spot conceal tiny marks/ area.

2) Pointed Foundation Brush-

" Use with liquid foundation to build custom coverage".

This is a great brush for concealing under eye area and to apply concealer or foundation on the corner of the nose as the bristles are so soft they bend according to the nose curve to reach the targeted area. This is how i mostly use this but this also works fine with light liquid foundation like MUFE face and body.

3) Buffing Brush-

" Ideal for full coverage application of powder and mineral foundation".

First of all i want to say is, this brush is my ultimate favorite from the set. It is thick and very dense that makes it work awesome with liquid foundations, giving flawless coverage. I have not really used this with mineral foundation so really can't comment on that claim, but overall this brush is amazing.

4) Contour Brush-

" Delicately applies highlighter to contour or create sheer, soft focus finish".

The contour brush again is a absolute favorite of mine. Multi-use, it works great for powder contouring as well as it applies and blends the highlighter so well on the cheek bone area.

Pros:

1) Ultra soft superior quality bristles
2) Feather like touch
3) Very attractive packaging
4) Rubber back for excellent grip
5) Great quality and multi- functional
6) Comes with a smart 2 in 1 case + stand

Cons:

None

Overall rate:

5/5

Verdict:This is a very wisely designed set of face brushes that helps to achieve a complete picture perfect base at very affordable price. I totally love this core collection set.

Let me know, which among these is your favorite brush. Do you have any favorite from real techniques, please share your views in the comment section below.
