Lakme CC Cream Shade Beige Review, Pictures and Swatch
|Lakme CC Cream Shade Beige Review|
I'll be reviewing CC cream from Lakme today. I got this cream in shade beige. Let's zoom in to know more:
What Brand says:
Price:250/-INR for 30 ml
Shelf Life:24 months
Made in India
My experience with Lakme skin stylist CC cream:
Packaging:The gorgeous beige gold color tube has a silver color screw open cap and it comes in a bling-y pink color carton. I loved the tube packaging, this looks chic! The tube has a pin size opening, that dispenses just the right amount of liquid out.
All the important information about ingredients, shelf life along with other stuff are given on the carton while few things are also mentioned on the back side of tube.

Color, Coverage & Texture:The CC cream is available in two shades Bronze and Beige. I have this in Beige shade, which is a natural beige color with yellow undertones :). The shade would really be suitable for medium to lighter skin tones with warm undertone, but i noticed it kind of turns a bit white as i start to spread it. But once blended it adapts to skin color and matches skin like... Skin! Yeah that perfectly and looks like as if i am just not really wearing anything.
The coverage this CC cream delivers is sheer in one coat, which can later be slightly build up by layering more. It's a CC cream only, if you are expecting more coverage, the product is simply not for you. It's only meant to even out skin tone that is what it does. This is not going to cover any dark spots too but you can anyway slightly apply concealer for that. I love how it evens out my skin, gives a brighter and fresh complexion which look all natural :D
The texture of this CC cream is very light. It does not feel heavy or cake-y even after layering. I noticed it is a bit drying for my skin type, so if you too have dry skin tone i suggest to moisturize your skin really well before using this as this accentuate dry patches on skin.

Fragrance:This has strong citrus fragrance, which i do mind as i have a sensitive nose. But good thing is, it start fading as time passes.
Finish:I love the totally natural finish, it delivers. Though while blending it feels matte but once blended it feels just like skin..that natural no flat matte. I noticed it dries a little faster, so you need to work really fast with it or apply it firstly on one side of face, blend and than move to other remaining part to avoid any uneven look.

Wear time:I seriously didn't expected it to be good on this front. But to my surprise it lasts easily for 6 hour on my skin without a primer and it does not oxidize :)
Value for money:It's definitely a good buy for this much money. I seriously was not expecting it to be that good but it's totally a hit product! which according to me is decently priced.

Verdict: I have tried a CC powder from a Singapore or Korea based brand(not sure exactly) but it's my first CC cream and i tell you this has not disappointed me in anyways! I definitely would recommend it to anyone who is looking forward to try something in sheer coverage range and prefer natural look..it is a good everyday product for a brighter and even complexion!
