|I accidently dropped and the tip broke :(|
Fragrance:It has a fresh mint fragrance, which is not overpowering. I usually don't prefer scents in makeup products but i like this refreshing mint fragrance :) It not too loud, lingers for sometime and later fades.
Color & Texture:250 Standout is a dark burnt red shade, which is just a perfect color for this autumn/winter season. As the name suggests, it delivers matte lips but the texture is velvet like, it's not really drying like any regular matte finish lipcolor. It gives awesome coverage like a matte color and takes care like a balm, so it's called matte balm :) It applies smoothly on lips and has a light weight feel to it.

Pigmentation & Finish:The color payoff of this shade 'Standout' is very impressive, it delivers full opaque coverage to the lips. It sets to a perfect matte lips, So if you are a sucker for matte red lipcolors, this is definitely something for you!

Wear-time:The lipcolor is not transfer proof but does not transfer much either. When you drink or eat, it becomes complete matte but not at all uncomfortable on lips though after 4 hour or so it does feel a little bit dry on lips. The lip shade did survived a full meal too but faded little from the inner part of lips/mouth. On my lips it stays for a good 6.5 hour which i think is not at all bad. It does leave a strong stain behind when it fades.
Affordability:I think 800 Indian rupees makes it a bit pricey but what we can do? All these drugstore brands(except Maybelline) seems to be giving a tough competition to each other on price hikes :p
Pros:1. Cool lip color in chubby stick form, easy to apply and carry along in handbag
2. Color coded
3. Keeps lips moist for few hour even though it's complete matte
4. Has refreshing mint fragrance
5. A dark burnt red shade perfect for winter weather
6. Very good color payoff
7. Delivers velvet matte finish without making lips dry
8. Long wearing, survives full meal too
9. Have goodness of Shea, Coconut and mango butters
Cons:1. A bit price-y
2. Does gets a bit drying in the later hours
3. Transfers little bit
4. Leaves stain on lips
Verdict: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm 250 Standout is a gorgeous dark burnt red shade, A must have shade for this season! It delivers full opaque coverage and velvet matte finish. I love the formula and the color but price...an ouchie! Hope they are listening!
